Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for spearheading all marketing efforts for the assigned product, presenting products in ways that strengthen the brand and boost sales. You must deeply understand the target audience's challenges and articulate how the product solves customer problems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, Sales, and Inventory is essential, providing back-office support to ensure seamless operations. Key Responsibilities: - Raise purchase orders for sales and marketing activities after consultation and approval from the respective manager/executive. - Update publishing schedules and analyze market trends to position products effectively. - Assist in developing product marketing strategies including pricing, advertising, and product launches. - Prepare monthly AI packs, order forms, costing grids, and e-book pricing. - Outline product marketing deployment timelines and manage marketing campaigns. - Coordinate with sales and maintain distribution lists of Point-of-Sale materials. - Prepare lists/order forms for the product and sales team, requisition copies for trade, media, and awards submissions. Qualifications Required: - Graduation / Post-Graduation in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Significant experience in product marketing and development. - Familiarity with product marketing tactics, market trends, and product lifecycles. - Proficient in negotiation tactics and Advanced Excel. - Ability to quickly adapt to in-house marketing, stock, and bibliographic systems.
