Product Manager(Early Stage SaaS Startup)

As a part of BiteSpeed, a Sequoia-backed SaaS startup focusing on building an AI-native Marketing, Support & Sales suite for e-commerce brands, you will be joining a team that is currently collaborating with 3000+ e-commerce brands across 50+ countries. The company has successfully raised $5.5M+ and has prominent investors like Sequoia Capital India, Kunal Shah, and Gaurav Munjal supporting its journey. The product function at BiteSpeed has been predominantly founder-led, relying on internal knowledge. This role presents an opportunity to be an early product hire, emphasizing high product ownership. With a diverse range of products, each evolving independently, this position aims to bring coherence to the organization. Your responsibilities will include owning and driving the product roadmap, making product decisions, prioritizing tasks, and overseeing execution. You will engage in user interviews, collaborate with sales and customer support teams to guide product decisions, create detailed product specifications, work closely with design and engineering teams, track product metrics, and stay informed about the market and competitive landscape. To excel in this role, you should ideally have at least 2 years of product management experience, although B2B SaaS experience is not mandatory. You must be comfortable with the dynamics of an early-stage startup, possess rigor, thoroughness, and attention to detail, demonstrate high agency and adaptability, and be willing to engage in tasks like data analysis and customer interviews. Previous exposure to LLMs is a plus but not a prerequisite. This position is based in Bangalore, offering a unique blend of B2B SaaS customer interactions and B2C experimentation.
