Product Manager - Data Foundations

You will be working on Data Foundations which is the data platform for Roundel data needs. The role will be focused on:

• Data Infrastructure Development: Lead the design and implementation of a scalable and robust data infrastructure that supports real-time & batch data processing and analytics.
• Data Quality and Governance: Establish and enforce data quality frameworks and governance policies to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Data Transformation Layer Management: Oversee the data transformation processes, ensuring efficient and accurate transformation, enrichment, and normalization of data.
• Data as a Service (DaaS): Develop strategies to offer data as a service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring flexible and scalable access to high-quality data sets.
• Monitoring and Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability tools to proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring system reliability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, analytics, creative, and performance teams to align data strategies and ensure seamless integration with ad-serving platforms.

Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work.

Role overview:

As a Product Manager for Roundel's Data Foundations team, you will work in the product model and will collaborate with your product team and key stakeholders to develop a plan and business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and work to collect other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.

You will be the voice of the product with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.

You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

About you:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of Product management experience or equivalent domain experience
• Experience working on Data platform & understanding of Data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), real-time data technologies, data transformation framework and AI/ML integration.
• Technical aptitude
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Strong communication skills
