Production Manager EV 2 Wheeler & 3 Wheeler Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete production operations for EV 2W & 3W assembly lines.
• Prepare and execute daily/weekly production plans.
• Ensure achievement of production targets with optimal resource utilization.
• Implement and monitor KPIs: efficiency, productivity, quality, downtime.
• Oversee line supervisors, technicians, and shift manpower.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and production SOPs.
• Coordinate closely with Purchase, Store, R&D, and QA teams.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and components.
• Drive process optimization, line balancing, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Ensure workplace safety, 5S, and compliance across the shop floor.
• Review and improve production processes to enhance output and reduce rejection.
• Support new model integration, tooling, testing, and trials.
  

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of EV vehicle assembly (motor, controller, wiring harness, battery, chassis).
• Experience in automobile/EV manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM.
• Ability to handle large teams and shift operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
  

Experience

• 5 to 12 years

  in Production / Manufacturing (EV or Automobile preferred).

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, Production Engineering.
