Product Engineering Manager

As a Manager of Product Engineering at our location in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and enhancement of Refrigeration products. With 6-8 years of experience in this field, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks that require a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and practical experience to ensure that our products consistently meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency. Your primary focus will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to introduce innovative products to the market and provide support for existing product lines. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing new products with innovative features, creating detailed designs for HVAC&R products, prototyping and testing to evaluate performance, and identifying areas for improvement. You will be tasked with analyzing customer feedback and internal input to enhance products, implementing design modifications for improved performance and durability, and working on cost management strategies to balance profitability with quality. Additionally, you will need to understand customer requirements, prepare project budgets, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering reliable and effective product performance. As a Manager of Product Engineering, you will lead product development projects, manage project timelines and budgets, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery of components. Your role will also involve preparing detailed documentation for product designs, tests, and modifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing technical support to sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams. Your qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with an M.Tech in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning or M.Tech in Heat & Mass Transfer. You must have knowledge of DFMEA, proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and a strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles. Experience with HVAC&R systems, components, and industry standards like ASHRAE, AHRI, and UL will be essential to excel in this position.,
