Product Engineer- Mechanical

As an experienced mechanical engineering professional, your role will involve supporting the development of processes and tools in the engineering domain. Key responsibilities include: - Applying and supporting the development of processes such as Design Review, Virtual Review, and tools like DFMEA, DVP & R, DFM, DFA, tolerance stack-up, etc. - Conducting cross-functional reviews for components independently and seeking guidance from experts and program team members when necessary. - Performing 3D CAD modeling for major casting components and other engine components such as plumbing, sheet metal brackets, etc. - Creating and checking 2D drawings, applying GD&T, and ensuring design for Manufacturing, service, and assembly. - Developing engineering releases according to component requirements for respective design phases. - Supporting engine build with proposed BOM, reviewing BOM, and verifying it during the engine build process. - Assisting in part movement during engine builds, validation, testing, etc. - Capable of handling ETLA and Product tailoring components/system TLA. Qualifications required for this position: - Experience Range: 4 to 10 Years - Qualification: MTech or BTech in Mechanical or Associated Branches. - Background of working in CREO 2.0 on engine components like plumbing, sheet metal parts, casting, etc. - Knowledge of product lifecycle. - Familiarity with Manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly. - MCM knowledge is preferred. - Basic understanding of engine components function is preferred. - CAD Proficiency: Pro/E - Creo. - Expected Skill Level: Expert.
