Product Engineer

Position: Contract Engineer Product Engineering VA

Carry out all engineering activities for design of Products within the portfolio to achieve exceptional results through personal effectiveness, partnering with others & building customer loyalty, fulfilling their needs in an efficient & effective manner.

Profile of the Job Holder:

• Bachelor’s in mechanical/automabile engineering stream.
• 2-4 Years of relevant functional work experience in Creo and Windchill;
• Being an individual contributor, the position holder is an epitome of “Doing things correctly” & “Right from me”;
• Highly motivated & self initiator with good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment; and,
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Key Skill & Knowledge Profile:

• Hands on experience in Modeling, Assembly and Detailing in Creo 7.0
• Should be able to create parametric models with built in design intends- design functionality; assembly method; reusability, Parent child relations
• Skills in the usage of Datum features, layers-Controlling model and drawing displays; Sketches, basic modeling features- extrude; revolve; holes; simple rounds & chamfers; drafts; sweep; blend; Shell, cross sections, family tables, replication features – copy; paste; mirror and patterning; feature modify options – reorder, redefine
• Skills in creating new assemblies & replacing components
• Working with creating new part and assembly drawings; modifying views-Changing View Location; Orientation; Origin; View display, dimensions, tolerances, GD&T tables, parameters
• Good Knowledge of Engineering Drawings
• Good knowledge on Castings & machining
• Good Knowledge on GPS/GD&T Symbols
• Good Knowledge on PDM/PLM tool Windchill
• Good understanding of various Manufacturing Processes and the usage of terminologies in Manufacturing process
• Must know SAP and windchill
