Product Documentation Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine existing

  BRD

  and

  FRD

  for accuracy, completeness, and technical clarity.
• Collaborate with

  Product Owners

  ,

  Business Analysts

  , and

  Technical Leads

  to validate requirements.
• Translate business concepts into clear, actionable, developer-ready instructions.
• Identify and resolve potential grey areas, overlaps, or conflicting requirements before handoff.
• Develop and implement

  standardized templates

  ,

  naming conventions

  , and

  requirement hierarchies

  .
• Ensure complete

  traceability

  from business objectives → features → user stories → acceptance criteria.
• Conduct

  document walkthroughs

  with Development and QA teams to confirm mutual understanding.
• Recommend and establish

  process improvements

  for documentation lifecycle and version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years

  of experience in Product Documentation, Business Analysis, or Technical Writing.
• Strong understanding of

  Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  and

  Agile methodologies

  .
• Proven expertise in creating or refining

  BRD

  ,

  FRD

  ,

  SRS

  , or

  User Stories

  .
• Exceptional command of English with the ability to produce

  unambiguous, developer-friendly content

• Strong analytical and structural thinking — capable of breaking down complex ideas logically.
• Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools such as
