Product Development Manager

Job Summary:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software development or product delivery, with at least 2–3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven success managing product development teams in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures, SDLC, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Confluence, etc.
• Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or digital product companies.
• Technical background with hands-on coding or architecture experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Exposure to user-centric design, data analytics, or AI/ML-based product development.
• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, PMP, or Product Management are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage product development teams (engineering, design, QA) to deliver on product vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Stakeholders to define clear requirements and prioritize development efforts.
• Translate product strategies into detailed, actionable development plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
• Drive execution excellence across the entire product lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, release, and scale.
• Ensure high standards in software quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team capacity using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Balance technical feasibility, business priorities, and customer experience.
• Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing development teams.
