Product Development Manager (Health Insurance)

As a Product Development Manager in the Health Insurance sector for a Leading General Insurance company based in Pune (Hinjewadi), your role will be dynamic and multifaceted. Your key responsibilities will revolve around market research, product documentation including collateral preparations, filing of documents, launching products, and conducting training sessions for both internal and external customers from various departments at different locations as required. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring Product Filing Readiness by preparing filing documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance in product filing, and maintaining/storing documents with version controls. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Product Calendar, ensuring milestone-wise adherence to the calendar, and reporting on plan vs actual progress for the product calendar. Cross-functional liaison will be a crucial aspect of your role, involving coordination with departments such as Underwriting, Actuarial, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Claims, Marketing, and Sales to ensure smooth product filing, query management, system readiness, and product launches in alignment with Product Development SOP. Additionally, you will be responsible for the preparation of MIS, reports required for management, GARO & regulatory reporting, supporting audit-related requirements for the Product Development function, and automating reports for post-launch tracking of New Product Performance. Market scan and competition tracking will also be part of your responsibilities, including conducting market scans for building competition comparison, tracking new product launches in the industry, and scanning overseas markets to stay informed and competitive in the market.,
