Job Description

You will be playing a crucial role in helping the company diversify its product portfolio by combining desk research, product mapping, and customer conversations. Your responsibilities will include: - Mapping indigenous crops to identify value-added ingredients. - Shortlisting ideas based on availability, ease of processing, import dependence, export potential, and potential import substitution. - Conducting secondary research using reliable sources like APEDA, IBEF, trade data, and journals to strengthen the developed ideas. - Building briefs that include market size, players, price references, applications, and gaps. - Speaking to stakeholders to validate forecasted demand. - Understanding pain points, current ingredients, demand, and pricing. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn: - How B2B ingredient markets operate. - How to evaluate new product opportunities. - How to conduct structured customer interviews. - How to interpret trade and industry data. To qualify for this position, you should be a student currently pursuing an MBA or in the final year of an MBA with a background in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Biotechnology. Additionally, you should possess an extroverted and curious nature, always on the lookout for opportunities, and have the ability to think out of the box.
