Product Development Engineer(Product Costing)

In this role of Engineer - Product Development in Chennai, you will be responsible for estimating and managing the costing for new complete products. Your key responsibilities will include participating in the end-to-end new product development lifecycle, executing new product and project launch activities, coordinating and optimizing assembly and decoration processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and manufacturing, and ensuring timely delivery of product development milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Estimate and manage the costing for new complete products - Participate in end-to-end new product development lifecycle - Execute new product and project launch activities - Coordinate and optimize assembly and decoration processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and manufacturing - Ensure timely delivery of product development milestones Qualification Required: - Post Diploma in Plastic Moulding and Technology (CIPET) - B.E./B.Tech in Plastic or Polymer Technology - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Preferred Attributes: - Candidates from CIPET or reputed institutions - Strong analytical and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment If you have experience in the Toys, Automobile, Medical Devices, or Plastics industry, and possess strong skills in complete product costing, design software like Pro-E (Creo), exposure to New Product Development (NPD) processes, project execution and management, and familiarity with assembly and decoration processes, this role could be advantageous for you.,
