Job Description

MAIN JOB DUTIES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: 1.) Analyze new RFQ 2D drawings or 3D models of auto components for amount of machining to be done in VMC/VTL/CNC. 2.) Decide the optimal feed, RPM, depth of cut required and estimate the cycle time needed for the entire machining. 3.) Choose the right tools, inserts, drills, chuck, jaws and machine require for achieving the optimal cycle time and quality as per customer drawing and maximum productivity. 4.) Choose the gauges required for 100% inspection. 5.) Estimate cost of production with the cycle time and tool cost data. 6.) After handover to production, cost reduction activities and cycle reduction activities to be done.
