Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and evolution of our design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency in user interface design across multiple products and platforms. Your contributions will empower product teams to create delightful and cohesive user experiences while championing innovative design thinking within the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and facilitate collaboration with product designers and UI developers to align design system across products. - Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines for consistency across all products and platforms. - Manage and track the component library for accuracy, scalability, and usability. - Drive the development of groundbreaking design solutions by conducting research, usability testing, and audits of existing UI components. - Design components in a generic and flexible way for usability across all BMC products. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in product design to enhance user experience. - Partner with engineering for accurate implementation and build strong relationships with stakeholders. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in product design, graphic design, or a related field. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in UX/product design with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and impact. - Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision. - Experience with design systems, component libraries, and design standards. - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices. - Understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and human-computer interaction. - Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
