PRODUCT DESIGNER - DINNER WARE AND TABLE WARE

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing luxury tableware, crockery, and homeware products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing and functional products that align with the brand's high standards. Your tasks will involve the entire design process, from concept ideation to the final prototype, focusing on sizes, materials, color matching, and overall product experience. - Lead the design process for new tableware and homeware collections, ensuring they meet luxury standards - Create initial concepts, refine designs, and prepare them for production - Focus on sizing for dinnerware and homeware items, understanding how variations affect functionality and aesthetics while maintaining consistency - Conduct thorough research on materials like fine porcelain, bone china, glass, and metal to ensure quality and aesthetic standards - Work closely with the production team to achieve perfect color matching and finishes across pieces - Develop initial design concepts aligned with the brand's vision, refine them through feedback and testing, and oversee the creation of prototypes - Act as a liaison between design and production teams to ensure accurate translation of designs into high-quality, mass-produced items - Maintain cohesive design, size, and material choices across collections - Utilize expertise in different product models and specifications for adaptability while upholding quality and luxury appeal Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in product design, preferably in luxury homeware, tableware, or crockery - Strong portfolio showcasing design sensibility, creativity, technical skills, and proficiency in design software - Knowledge of luxury materials, strong communication skills, and ability to troubleshoot design issues Preferred qualifications: - Degree in Industrial Design or related field - Experience in luxury brands or high-end homeware industry - Familiarity with sustainability aspects and global design trends This position is based in Chennai.,
