The company Cypherock is dedicated to building a secure self-custody future. Their primary product, the X1 hardware wallet, sets itself apart by utilizing Shamir's Secret Sharing to eliminate seed phrases. This innovative approach involves distributing keys across a vault and four NFC cards, guaranteeing maximum security and recoverability. Cypherock's product ecosystem further includes the cySync desktop app, a mobile companion app, and a comprehensive marketing website. Together, these components aim to provide a user-friendly self-custody solution without compromising on security. Cypherock is currently seeking a Senior Product Designer to take charge of the design experience across various touchpoints, including hardware, desktop, mobile, and web interfaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading UX and UI design for the X1 hardware wallet's device interface, the cySync desktop app, the mobile companion app, and the Cypherock marketing website. Additionally, they will need to own the design system entirely, ensuring consistency and scalability across all platforms and touchpoints. Collaborating closely with the Product Manager, the Senior Product Designer will define user journeys and create intuitive, secure, and elegant designs. Conducting UX research, usability testing, and leveraging insights to guide design decisions will be crucial. Moreover, the candidate will prototype user flows using tools like Figma to effectively communicate interactions, deliver high-quality design assets with clear specifications for development handoff, and adopt a structured and ownership-driven approach to managing design work end-to-end. The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 2 years of hands-on product design experience, preferably spanning desktop, mobile, and web interfaces. Proficiency in Figma for UI design and prototyping is essential, along with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Blender for asset creation or 3D/mockup work. Strong UX thinking, the ability to design for both software interfaces and embedded hardware, and experience in building and maintaining scalable design systems are highly valued. Proficiency in UX research and a user-centered design process are crucial, with familiarity in motion or interaction design considered a bonus. An interest or prior experience in crypto/web3 or security-focused products will be advantageous. The ideal candidate should be highly structured, capable of working independently, and demonstrate strong ownership.
