Product Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering:

    Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Backlog Ownership:

    Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog (Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria) to ensure the development team always has high-value work ready.
  • Roadmap Alignment:

    Ensure the development focus aligns with the broader product vision and business goals.
  • User Acceptance:

    Validate completed features against requirements before handing them over to clients or pushing to production.
  • Sprint Execution:

    Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) to maintain team velocity and focus.
  • Timeline & Resource Management:

    Track project milestones, manage resource allocation, and ensure releases meet the agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Risk Mitigation:

    Proactively identify blockers, dependencies, and risks; develop mitigation plans to keep the project on track.
  • Stakeholder Reporting:

    Provide transparent, regular status updates to senior management and clients regarding progress, budget, and potential issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    3-5+ years of total experience in the IT industry, with at least

    3 years

    managing software projects or products.
  • Agile Expertise:

    Strong practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC.
  • Documentation Skills:

    Proficiency in writing clear, detailed Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and User Stories.
  • Tool Proficiency:

    Expert-level familiarity with project management tools like

    JIRA

    .
  • Communication:

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively negotiate scope with clients and explain business logic to developers.
  • Problem Solving:

    A data-driven approach to decision-making and the ability to resolve conflicts within the team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical Background:

    Prior experience as a Developer, QA, or Business Analyst is a huge plus (enables better estimation and technical discussions).
  • Certifications:

    PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or equivalent.
