Product Configurator Developer

You are sought after to join the team in building and maintaining Items, Bill of Materials, and Product Configurator for CPQ/PLM/ERP Systems. Your role will involve setting up items, BOMs, and Configurator Models, configuring product knowledge rules, logic, and relationships, developing custom solutions using Java, understanding Engineering Drawings and Design BOMs, supporting data integrations, analyzing business requirements, troubleshooting product configurator-related issues, and staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Set up Items, BOMs, and Configurator Models based on engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements. - Configure product knowledge rules, logic, and relationships to support dynamic product offerings. - Develop custom solutions and enhancements using Java to support advanced product configurator functionality. - Understand and interpret Engineering Drawings and Design BOMs to ensure accurate configuration. - Analyze business requirements, develop design, manage configuration and integration, and conduct robust testing to support new system implementations, current system upgrades, and business process changes. - Troubleshoot and resolve product configurator-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of the order entry systems. - Stay current with best practices, emerging technologies, and product modeling techniques to continuously improve configurator performance and maintainability. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelors degree in data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - 2-5 years of experience with similar configuration / development in Oracle Configurator. The ideal candidate should have proven experience with Oracle Configurator, Oracle Bill of Materials, a strong understanding of product configuration logic, rule-based modeling, and guided selling strategies. Additionally, they should possess the ability to translate complex product structures and business requirements into scalable configuration models, familiarity with Oracle Order Management or similar tools, experience using PLM systems like Agile PLM, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with Java for developing and supporting Oracle Configurator Extensions, familiarity with Logscale or equivalent tools for troubleshooting order processing errors, hands-on experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing, debugging, and documentation, advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. **Additional Details:** The company you will be working for, Pella India, is a Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad.
