Role Summary:

Product Compliance Manager for Hardlines will be responsible for ensuring all products comply with regional and international regulatory standards across India, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Southeast Asia (SEA). This role acts as the bridge between business, supply chain, and certification bodies, managing the full lifecycle of product compliance from design validation to certification and market access.

The individual will lead cross-functional coordination with external agencies such as TV, SGS, and Bureau Veritas, and internal stakeholders including product management, SCM, Business and quality assurance teams. The role demands strong technical knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BIS, ROHS, SABER, G-Mark, and other country-specific requirements, as well as proven program management capability to deliver certifications on time and at scale

What we're looking for:

• 12-15 years of hands-on experience managing product regulatory compliance across India, SEA, and GCC.
• Proven track record of obtaining certifications under frameworks such as BIS, ROHS, WPC, SABER, G-Mark, and ECAS.
• Strong Program Management Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholder teams
• Strong exposure to consumer electronics / electrical appliances / IoT / industrial products.
• Experience working with certification agencies (TV, SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, etc.)
• Prior engagement with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, product, and legal.
• Experience in managing compliance documentation, audits, and renewals.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of regional product compliance frameworks and submission workflows.
• Knowledge of ISO and IEC testing standards.
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems for documentation.
• Strong grasp of chemical substance compliance (ROHS/REACH) and electrical safety standards.
• Program management and vendor coordination for multiple certifications simultaneously.
