Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Textile Product Coach is responsible for training and sales staff on our products, fabrics, and garment knowledge.

This role involves frequent travel to multiple stores, showrooms, and production units to conduct on-site and virtual product coaching sessions

1. Training & Development:

Conduct regular training sessions for new joinees on Vismay products, including Kurti and Innerwear ranges.

Provide in-depth knowledge on materials, trims, sizes, care instructions, and product features.

Train staff on customer service excellence, grooming standards, and behavioral etiquettes.

Assist in onboarding new employees and ensure smooth integration into store operations.

Provide refresher training sessions for existing staff to maintain high product knowledge and service standards.

2. Operational Support:

Support SIS management teams in daily operational activities including stock handling, visual merchandising, and store organization.

Assist in monitoring and fulfilling uniform and resource requirements across all SIS outlets.

Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.

3. Sales Support:

Support the sales team during peak periods or in case of staff shortage to maintain smooth operations and sales targets.

Guide teams in upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing the customer shopping experience.

4. Reporting & Feedback :

Provide regular feedback to the Regional Head and Store Management on training outcomes, team performance, and operational gaps.

Recommend improvements in processes, product presentation, and customer engagement strategies.

5. Travel & Area Coverage:

Regular travel across all Vismay SIS outlets in Kerala for on-site training and support.

Ensure timely follow-ups and consistency in training standards across all locations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of textiles, trims, and garment construction (Kurti & Innerwear).

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teams effectively.

Customer-oriented mindset with strong service ethics.

Hands-on approach and ability to work closely with operational teams.

Flexible and willing to travel extensively across assigned areas.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 24 years in retail, training, or product specialist role in fashion/textiles.

Prior experience in Kurti/innerwear or apparel retail preferred.

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Fashion/Textiles/Business or related field preferred.
