Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for the company from identifying sourcing needs to placing orders and ensuring delivery.
  • Research, identify, and onboard

    vendors/suppliers

    for required products or services; build a reliable vendor network and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement while meeting quality and timeline requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels (if applicable) and coordinate purchasing schedules to prevent stock-outs or overstocking, aligning supply with operational demand.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly (quality, cost, delivery times) and develop improvement or alternative sourcing plans as needed.
  • Work closely with the operations team to forecast procurement needs and with the finance team to manage procurement budgets and payment terms.
  • Ensure all purchase activities are well-documented and compliant with company policies and any regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on market trends and prices for key materials/services to anticipate changes and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience:

    Approximately 4–6 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles (preferably including experience in a fast-paced or startup environment).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills – proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and build rapport with vendors.
  • Solid understanding of sourcing strategies, vendor evaluation, and inventory management principles.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in cost analysis and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or any e-procurement tools).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in purchase orders and contract terms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
  • Ethical and transparent approach to procurement, upholding integrity in vendor interactions and selections.
