Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for the procurement team, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers, ensuring a reliable and competitive supply base.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, timelines, and cost targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolving issues and ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality, delivery, or service.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations (e.g., procurement law, sustainability regulations).
  • Mitigate procurement-related risks by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and market conditions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
  • Regularly report procurement performance to senior leadership, providing insights into savings, supplier performance, and key challenges.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure alignment and effective execution of procurement activities.
  • Track Vendor Invoices, Timely approval and Submission of Invoices to customer, Payment tracking
  • Hands On-experience in SAP Procurement, PR, PO functions
  • Successfully Novate contracts from Customer to Partners within defined KPIs

Primary Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Proven ability to drive cost savings and process improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with procurement software (e.g., SAP).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Should have knowledge of end-to-end Procure2Pay (P2P) function
