Strategic Procurement Leadership

• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement function for solar and wind energy projects.
• Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies to support organizational growth and project pipelines.
• Establish procurement policies, SOPs, and best practices aligned with industry standards.

Sourcing & Vendor Development

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for major equipment such as

  solar modules, wind turbines, inverters, transformers, structures, cables, BOS components, and ancillary equipment

• Build strong relationships with global OEMs and technology providers.
• Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.

Cost Optimization & Contract Negotiation

• Lead high-value negotiations for capex procurement, long-term supply agreements, and framework contracts.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or project timelines.
• Manage commercial terms, payment schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.

Project Coordination & Delivery Management

• Collaborate with engineering, project execution, logistics, finance, and legal teams to align procurement with project requirements.
• Oversee procurement planning, delivery tracking, and material scheduling to ensure on-time project execution.
• Resolve supply chain bottlenecks and support project teams during critical phases.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Monitor market trends, supply risks, commodity price fluctuations, and global supply chain disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and global procurement standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, contract archives, and audit-ready records.

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead and mentor procurement team members to improve performance and capability.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Support leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
