Job Purpose

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for finding goods & services for the company at the best value regarding quality & price.

Key Responsibilities

To acquire targeted business clients by actively optimizing pipelines and sourcing new leads until they are engaged.

Responsible for going door-to-door & have to deal directly with a company’s suppliers to ensure the company has the materials needed to do business.

Maintain relationship with existing clients.

Conduct market research (analyse competition landscape, the efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)

Work closely with the regional team to understand details of procurement requirements.

Coordinate with logistics & operations team to get the raw material picked from vendors.

Identify suppliers of goods & services.

Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.

Recommend new products, services, or materials in keeping with industry trends.

Manage day-to-day interactions with suppliers & field purchasing leaders.

Escalation of complex issues to Procurement Leader.

Qualification

Any graduate

Experience

At least 2-5 years of experience in procurement & B2B Sales.

Additional Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working knowledge of SAP / Excel
