Position Summary:

We are looking for an Executive in Contracts &Procurementwho will be responsible for managing theprocurementactivities and contract administration related to civil, electrical, and mechanical projects. The role demands close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and legally compliantprocurementof materials and services. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical backgroundand 3 to 5 years of experience inprocurementand contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement

    Management:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, services, and equipment required for projects.
  • Lead the preparation and issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and other tender-related documentation.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure timelyprocurementof goods and services in line with project schedules and budgets.
  • Contract Administration:

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and execution of contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Trackprocurementprogress and resolve any issues related to contract fulfillment.
  • Ensure that all contracts and purchase orders are properly documented and recorded.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve disputes and concerns with vendors promptly.
  • Coordinate with project teams to understand project-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards inprocurementand contracts.
  • Maintain accurateprocurementrecords and provide reports onprocurementactivities and contract performance.
  • Ensure thatprocurementprocesses adhere to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Budget & Cost Control:

  • Assist in the preparation ofprocurementbudgets and cost estimates.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensureprocurementis within the approved budget.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience inprocurementand contract management, ideally within the construction industries.
  • Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge ofprocurementprocesses, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of construction or engineering project requirements and specifications.
  • Familiarity withprocurementsoftware and contract management systems.
  • Preferred Skills:

  • Certification inprocurementor contract management (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is a plus.
