Procurement Buyer

Key Responsibilities:

Indirect Procurement & Sourcing

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes for indirect categories, including supplier identification, RFP/RFQ execution, and contract negotiations.
• Develop category strategies to optimize cost, service levels, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments (Finance, Manufacturing, HR, etc.) to define requirements and align procurement activities with business objectives.
• Ensure procurement decisions align with company policies, sustainability goals, and cost-saving initiatives.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Conduct supplier evaluation, selection, and onboarding, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and risk management policies.
• Negotiate contract terms, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and pricing to drive value creation.
• Manage vendor relationships to enhance service delivery, resolve issues, and foster strategic partnerships.
• Track and report supplier performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.

Cost & Process Optimization

• Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives through demand aggregation, negotiation, and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for digital transformation and automation within the procurement process.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical sourcing, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Experience in Import and Export clearance process.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Ariba).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of procurement compliance, sustainability practices, and risk management.
