Process Safety Lead

You will be working as a Subject Matter Expert (SEM) at Piramal Pharma Solutions to ensure compliance with all Process Safety regulations and standards. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Implementation of OSHAs/RBPS process safety management across all Piramal manufacturing sites. - Promotion of a strong process safety culture to prevent major incidents. - Support to sites in reducing incident rates and improving overall EHS performance. - Ensuring timely closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) from incidents, audits, and reviews. - Driving training and competency-building programs for employees and contractors in process safety and EHS. - Leading capability-building initiatives by developing and delivering training programs. - Conducting reviews and maturity assessments of the Process Safety Management (PSM) framework and implementing improvements. - Establishing governance mechanisms for sustaining PSM improvements across sites. - Supporting digital solutions and software implementation for process safety management. - Strengthening reporting and analysis of EHS leading indicators across sites. - Driving the implementation of process safety leading indicator guidelines within reporting systems. - Ensuring effective tracking, feedback, and closure of improvement actions. - Conducting regular reviews of site EHS performance and facilitating knowledge sharing. - Coordinating and leading internal, external, and statutory EHS audits across sites. - Providing guidance to project teams on EHS compliance requirements for new projects. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering/Process Safety/Environmental Engineering or related field. - 10-14 years of experience. Required skills for this position are: - Experience in EHS and process safety within pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industries. - Proven track record in PSM implementation, audits, certifications, and compliance management. - Exposure to global regulatory requirements is an advantage. - Certifications in process safety, auditing, or risk management are desirable. - Good communication skills and working with cross-functional teams is desired.,
