Job Description

Role & responsibilities
Interpret 2D/3D tool designs and GD&T to create process plans.
Define manufacturing sequences for all tooling components.
Allocate operations to conventional, CNC, EDM, WEDM, and grinding machines.
Estimate machining time and set cost targets for each operation.
Prepare process sheets, route cards, and operation layouts.
Coordinate with design, CNC programming, and production teams.
Plan tool modifications, insert changes, and revisions.
Monitor WIP status and provide support for delays or deviations.
Standardize tooling methods and suggest process improvements.
Ensure alignment with ISO, 5S, and safety practices in tool manufacturing.

Preferred candidate profile

Process planning, machining sequences, and job routing
Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and CAM basics
Familiarity with machine tools VMC, EDM, WEDM, Lathe, Grinding
Costing and time estimation
Understanding of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems
Good communication and coordination skills
