Process Engineering Manager - Tata Toyo Radiator Limited

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and support

  New Product Development (NPD)

  , especially for

  heat exchangers including condensers

  .
• Drive

  Process Engineering

  activities including process design, optimization, and validation.
• Conduct and document

  PFMEA

  to identify potential failure modes and implement preventive actions.
• Collaborate with

  equipment suppliers

  , including

  international vendors

  , for technical discussions, specification finalization, and procurement support.
• Interact with the

  shop floor

  to resolve process issues, support trials, and ensure smooth implementation of engineering changes.
• Lead development and improvement of processes such as:

• Core building

• Helium leak testing

• Fin forming

• Tooling development

  related to condenser manufacturing
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities in quality, cost, and delivery.
• Support

  cost reduction

  and

  manpower optimization

  initiatives through process innovation.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and industry standards.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Participate in

  design reviews

  ,

  process audits

  , and

  root cause analysis

  for quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including process flow diagrams, control plans, and work instructions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development through technical guidance

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong experience in

  Heat Exchanger Design and Manufacturing

  , with a focus on

  condenser-type heat exchangers

  .
• Minimum

  5 years of hands-on experience

  in

  condenser process engineering

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  core building, helium leak testing, fin forming

  , and

  tooling development

  .
• Proficiency in

  Process Engineering

  ,

  PFMEA

  , and

  problem-solving tools

  .
• Excellent

  analytical skills

  and ability to interpret technical data.
• Hands-on experience in

  New Product Development

  and

  supplier interaction

  , including international vendors.
• Familiarity with

  shop floor operations

  and production environments.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Exposure to

  Lean Manufacturing

  ,

  Kaizen

  , and

  Six Sigma

  methodologies is a plus.
