Job Title/Designation Process Associate/Sr. Process Associate- Collateral Management (US Mortgage) Exp - 2-3 years’ experience in US Mortgage Shift - 4 PM to 1AM (5 days working) L ocation –Gurgaon Summary/Objective The Collateral Management Specialist ensures accurate management and documentation of mortgage loans and mortgage-backed securities. The role involves reviewing and processing collateral documentation, maintaining compliance with federal regulations, managing risk, and collaborating with stakeholders like loan originators, investors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Documentation: Verify and process loan documents, including notes and titles, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documents as per state/ federal law and investor guideline. 2. Tracking & Reporting: Maintain records of collateral assets, monitor movements, and generate reports on discrepancies. 3 . Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure adherence to mortgage regulations and resolve collateral deficiencies. 4. Collaboration : Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues and align processes. 5. System Improvement: Utilize and enhance collateral management systems and processes.4 Essential Functions Perform tasks as per the defined guidelines. Gather pertinent information from documents Search for required docs in internal system and in public records and reach out to external parties as needed Follows up with vendors attorneys, prior servicer, onboarding team for pending documentation. Email Communication with US team, Vendor, investor and prior servicer as per process requirement Reviewing & Documents as per the process requirements. Competencies/Skill Communication skills – Effective verbal and written communication Must be able to work in a team environment Analytical ability - Eye to detail (Should be able to handle large data) Quantitative skills – Good with numbers MS Excel – should be at least intermediate level. Education and Experience Must be a graduate 2-3 years of US Mortgage (Servicing) experience is must. Fair knowledge of FNMA/GNMA/FHLMC guideline will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Fiserv/LoanServ/Sagent system Knowledge of Collateral management function will be an advantage Knowledge of Collateral document ( Deed, Mortgage Note, Allonge, Assignment, Title Docs Etc.). Knowledge/experience of post closing/origination
