Function Overview

The Finance organization partners across General Mills to provide financial expertise to guide and govern the company. Purpose of the role

The Reporting Analyst will drive business reporting and analytics for the ICS organization, focusing on Trade and AR markets. This role requires hands-on expertise in developing dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports using tools such as Tableau, Python, SQL databases, GCP, Power Query, and VBA. The analyst will independently design and deliver data solutions, monitor key metrics, and proactively identify trends and outliers to support business decisions and process improvements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting & Analytics (45%)

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, JAVA, Python, SQL, and GCP.
  • Deliver timely and accurate business reports, scorecards, and analytics on key performance indicators for Process and ICS teams.
  • Monitor AR balances, identify outliers, and highlight trends to relevant teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders across ICS, Trade, and AR to understand reporting needs and drive actionable insights.
  • Provide excellent customer service and issue resolution for internal and external teams

Process Automation & Efficiency (40%)

  • Identify, design, and implement automation solutions using Power Query, VBA, and other relevant tools.
  • Lead process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and testing as required.
  • Contribute to O2C-level projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiar with Automation Anywhere or similar tool and troubleshoot existing BOT issues.
  • Think & Build Early warning systems/solutions.

Knowledge Management & Training (15%)

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting processes, dashboards, and automation workflows.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and deliver refresher sessions to upskill team members.
  • Ensure best practices in knowledge management and process institutionalization.
  • Stay current with emerging tools and techniques in data analytics and automation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
  • Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
  • Proven experience with Tableau, Python, SQL databases, GCP, Power Query, and VBA.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
  • Ability to independently manage end-to-end reporting and automation projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with SAP, Business Objects, and Trade Payments Systems is a plus.

  • Minimum years of related experience required: 5+ years
  • Preferred years of related experience: 5-6 years
