Pro Vice Chancellor

Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya seeking a Pro Vice Chancellor The Pro Vice Chancellor will assist the Vice Chancellor in driving the academic, administrative, and strategic functions of Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya. The PVC will play a pivotal role in academic leadership, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, and quality enhancement initiatives, contributing to the university's vision of excellence in education, research, and innovation.

Job Description:-

• Assist in formulating and executing academic and administrative policies.
• Promote research, innovation, and quality education across departments.
• Ensure compliance with UGC, NAAC, and other regulatory standards.
• Strengthen national and international academic collaborations.
• Mentor faculty and staff for academic and professional growth.
• Support student-centric initiatives for holistic development.
• Represent the university in academic forums and regulatory meetings.

Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a proven academic and research record.
• At least 15 years of experience in higher education leadership or senior academic positions.
• Strong knowledge of accreditation, regulatory frameworks, and institutional governance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
