Print Designer - Garment

Seeking a Dynamic Graphic Designer for a D2C brand based in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities

• Create placement graphics, all-over prints, patterns, and micro-icons suitable for fabric printing (rotary, digital, screen).
• Translate design briefs from the Category Planning team into final technical artworks.
• Develop 2–3 design options per brief for internal review.
• Prepare production-ready files with correct sizing, colour separation, and print repeats.
• Conduct trend research relevant to kidswear (themes, icons, motifs, typography).
• Maintain a print archive/library for future references.
• Coordinate with the sampling team for strike-offs and print approvals.
• Ensure prints adhere to fabric limitations, shrinkage allowances, and handfeel requirements.
• Work with merchandising/category planning to adapt designs across sizes/age groups.
• Ensure on-time delivery of files to maintain production calendars.

Job Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in apparel print/graphic design (kidswear preferred)
• Strong Illustrator, Photoshop skills
• Understanding of repeat creation, layering, colourways, and colour fastness
• Familiarity with rotary/screen printing constraints
• Good aesthetic judgment for child-friendly motifs and storytelling
• Ability to handle fast turnaround timelines
