The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in data architecture, data lakes, and ETL framework design, with a strong passion for leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to build robust data solutions. The Principal Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures and play a critical role in shaping the data strategy for our clients.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design and implement data architecture for cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with best practices.- Develop and manage AWS Data Lake solutions, ensuring efficient data ingestion, storage, and retrieval processes.- Lead the design and implementation of ETL frameworks and data pipelines using technologies like Apache Spark RDD, Kafka Connect, and Airflow.- Conduct GDPR assessments and provide consulting services to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.- Utilize AWS CloudTrail for monitoring and logging to maintain governance and compliance in data handling.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish data governance policies and best practices.- Drive and support AI initiatives at scale by integrating data technologies with cloud platforms like Azure.- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.**Required Skills:**- 16-20 years of experience in data architecture and data management roles.- Extensive experience with AWS and its ecosystem, particularly in AWS Data Lake, ETL processes, and cloud governance.- Proficiency in using Apache Spark RDD for distributed data processing.- Strong knowledge of Kafka Connect for real-time data streaming and integration.- Experience with Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.- Understanding of GDPR and other data protection regulations, with experience in assessments and compliance consulting.- Familiarity with AWS CloudTrail for monitoring, governance, and security of data environments.- Knowledge and experience in leveraging AI technologies and integrating Azure solutions within data ecosystems.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design efficient data solutions.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Proven track record of successful data architecture design and implementation in complex environments.**Why Join Us?**At Happiest Minds, we value innovation, collaboration, and empowerment.
