Principle Solution Architect-AWS Cloud Migration

The position of Principal Solution Architect AWS Cloud Migration Focus (Presales) based in Noida requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in IT architecture and systems integration. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. As a Principal Solution Architect, you will act as the technical lead during the sales cycle, collaborating closely with account executives, customers, and internal teams. Your responsibilities will include engaging in discovery sessions with clients to evaluate their current infrastructure, applications, and cloud readiness. You will be tasked with designing and presenting AWS-based migration architectures encompassing compute, storage, networking, and application stacks. Additionally, you will be involved in solution designing for serverless applications, containerized applications, security and compliance, as well as hybrid or multi-cloud architecture. In terms of migration strategy and planning, you will be expected to develop customized migration roadmaps and proposals utilizing AWS best practices and migration frameworks. You will recommend migration strategies such as Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Retire, Retain, and Repurchase (6 Rs) while identifying risks and creating mitigation plans to ensure smooth migration execution. Within the realm of tooling & architecture, you will leverage tools like AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, Server Migration Service (SMS), and Database Migration Service (DMS). Your role will involve architecting landing zones, security frameworks, and hybrid integration models while ensuring compliance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and security standards. Furthermore, you will contribute to RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work (SoWs), and cost estimates. Collaborating with sales and finance teams, you will model TCO/ROI for AWS migration projects. The required skill set and experience for this role include a minimum of 5 years of hands-on AWS experience with a focus on enterprise migration projects. You should possess a deep understanding of cloud architectures, hybrid cloud, networking, security, and migration methodologies. Proven experience in pre-sales, customer interaction, proposal writing, and familiarity with AWS MAP program components such as MAP 2.0, MAP light, MAP assessment, OLA assessment is essential. Certification requirements consist of AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and either AWS Migration Specialty or DevOps Engineer certifications. The successful candidate should exhibit excellent communication and conversation skills, both verbal and written, along with good documentation skills.
