Principal Transport Planner

Role Overview: At Jacobs, you are a Principal Transport Planner with expertise in microscopic/mesoscopic transport modelling and junction modelling packages. Your role involves ensuring quality project delivery, understanding the transport planning GDC business area, and being a team player and task manager. You are expected to exhibit clear progression towards a technical career path and coordinate closely with the lead office project manager, delivery team, and project reviewer for clean delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize in-depth knowledge and experience in using standard microscopic/mesoscopic transport modelling packages and recognized transport appraisal techniques - Demonstrate advanced knowledge in VISSIM, Linsig, and SIDRA software to produce clear, precise, and coherent traffic analysis and reports - Preferably have experience with Aimsun, EMME, MapInfo, and Cube - Lead functional teams or projects and support the smooth functioning of the TP business - Prepare to become a subject matter expert in the future Qualification Required: - Masters degree in Transportation Planning/Engineering - Minimum of 14 years of experience with GDC exposure (APAC/UK/ME) - Proven experience working on UK/ME/ANZ projects Additional Details: At Jacobs, the value of people is paramount, and the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle enables the consistent delivery and exceeding of clients" expectations.
