Principal Tradesman (Building Services)

Role Overview: As the Facilities Maintenance Principal Tradesman at HAECO, you will lead a team in performing routine checks, scheduled maintenance, and urgent repairs on production equipment and building facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all work complies with statutory and airworthiness regulations. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, air-conditioning, or building services trades will support operational efficiency and reliability across the organization. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and trade certifications are essential in maintaining high standards for seamless facility operations. Key Responsibilities: - Report to FM Supervisor / FM Technician for routine checks, scheduled maintenance, and ad-hoc repairs on production equipment and building facilities - Lead a team of tradesmen and external labor to handle daily work and select suitable solutions for technical problems - Follow pre-planned schedules to check and repair production equipment and building facilities to ensure compliance with regulations - Handle service requests to repair damaged facilities and solve technical problems faced during the repair process - Allocate tasks to tradesmen and external labor, provide technical guidance, and monitor work quality and safety - Execute pre-planned maintenance schedules for production equipment and building facilities - Respond to service requests and repair damaged facilities reported by users - Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed work - Maintain records of maintenance activities and report progress to Supervisor/Technician (Facilities) Qualifications Required: - Competency in leading a crew and passing internal trade tests - Hold Trades Test Certificate issued by Construction Industry Council (CIC) and Intermediate Trades Test Certificate in relevant trade - Worker registered with Grade A Electrical Work for Electrical and Air-conditioning Trades - Completed Form 3 or above with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, Craft Apprenticeship/Technician Apprenticeship is an advantage - For internal candidates, a minimum of 2 years as Tradesman (Facilities) G2 Join HAECO and be part of a global provider of high-quality MRO services with a wide range of aviation products and services to support safe and efficient aircraft operations.,
