Job Description

As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing power electronics hardware for Solar Inverters, UPS, or Drives. Your role will involve evaluating, specifying, implementing, validating, and troubleshooting power components such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, gate drive circuits, high-power capacitors, chokes/inductors, and transformers. It is essential to have a good understanding of various modulation control schemes for single-phase and three-phase inverter topologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and model circuits using computer simulation, laboratory implementation/testing, and troubleshooting to meet functional specifications. - Define, analyze, and measure control performance parameters (e.g., stability, response time) as applied to power electronics. - Select and design power semiconductors, gate drive circuits, magnetic devices, capacitors, and power drive circuits to meet cost requirements. - Apply knowledge of EMI and EMC to high-power electronics products. - Implement signal processing and digital control algorithms using microcontrollers or DSPs. - Collaborate with Project Managers to review Product Manuals, application notes, and service documentation. - Support the factory team by preparing test documentations. Qualifications: - Master's degree in Power Electronics Engineering. - Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in research, design, and development of power electronic converters.
