Principal SRE

You will be responsible for developing automation scripts and integrations utilizing Python, Node.js, and Bash to enhance operational efficiency and enhance observability. It will be crucial to monitor the performance of applications and infrastructure by utilizing tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. In addition, you will play a key role in incident response and conduct root cause analysis. Managing Akamai configurations for performance optimization and bot mitigation will also fall under your purview. To excel in this role, you are expected to have at least 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a related field. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Node.js, and Bash is essential. Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud would be advantageous. A strong understanding of REST APIs, data serialization (JSON, YAML), and HTTP protocols is required. Practical experience with Jenkins or similar tools for building pipelines is preferred. Furthermore, expertise in monitoring and observability tools, particularly Splunk and Dynatrace, is highly desirable. Previous exposure to Jira and agile development practices will be beneficial in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.,
