Principal Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a software developer with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex networking products from the initial stages to production delivery. Your role will involve developing high-quality software for commercial products, with a focus on communication systems encompassing wireless, radio, security, and mesh networking technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate effectively in a small team to work on fast-paced projects with tight deadlines - Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management - Develop software in C/C++ for Linux platforms, with proficiency in Python and other scripting languages - Work with Embedded real-time systems, including Embedded CPU, DSP, and ARM environments - Configure and install embedded Linux systems, including board bring up and firmware/diagnostics support - Familiarity with OSI networking protocols and applications - Experience in Board Support Package (BSP) development, tool chain creation, and system debugging tools Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Embedded Systems, C, C++, Linux/Unix, and OSI networking protocols - Previous experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Strong background in developing software for commercial products - Knowledge of Linux development infrastructure, tool chain, and build environment - Experience in developing Linux device drivers and application software - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge networking technologies and contribute to the development of innovative products.
