Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned, high-energy Principal Sales Consultant to spearhead business development in the US market. This is a senior executive role best suited for individuals who have already operated at the Director/VP level (or equivalent) in IT services or boutique consulting firms, and bring both gravitas and strong executive presence.

The ideal candidate is an advisor/consultant who can open doors, build executive-level trust, and shape high-value programs. You will leverage your deep US network (Founders, CTOs, VCs, CXOs) and proven track record of securing multi-million-dollar annual targets to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor and door-opener for US market growth, engaging with Founders, CTOs, VCs, and CXOs.
  • Leverage existing deep US network to build warm introductions and open referenceable logos.
  • Lead conversations that establish executive credibility, influence strategic decisions, and guide complex negotiations.
  • Drive large-scale services and program wins, beyond pilots or small projects.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership and presales teams to shape and close high-value opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at US industry events, roadshows, and client meetings to strengthen market positioning.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the broader sales and business development team, as required.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 25+ years in IT/product engineering sales, with prior experience at Director/VP level or equivalent in a services or boutique firm.

Proven Track Record:

  • Closed multiple $1M+ services/program deals in the US.
  • Can name 3 marquee accounts won via personal relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive net-new client acquisition at scale.
  • Network: Established C-level connections in the US tech ecosystem (Founders, CTOs, VCs, CXOs).

Executive Presence:

  • High-energy, polished communicator.
  • Excellent conversationalist with strong boardroom presence.
  • Comfortable leading strategic-level discussions vs. tactical sales ops.

US Market Experience:

  • Extensive US travel experience; a valid US visa is required.
  • Open to frequent travel for client meetings and events.
  • Sales Approach: Strong consultative selling ability; comfortable acting as advisor and negotiator on large, complex programs.
