Job Description

As a Principal Sales Analyst at Medtronic's Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune, you will play a key role in optimizing sales performance, accelerating revenue growth, and improving go-to-market effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining forecasting models based on sales data, along with other internal and external data sources - Assessing the effectiveness of the sales and clinical teams, supporting cross-functional partners, and proposing creative solutions for complex business challenges - Implementing strategies for process optimization and standardization - Reviewing department metrics with the leadership team to ensure consistent performance and achievement of business goals - Identifying and tracking data necessary for business forecasting, product utilization models, and predictive sales analytics - Designing, producing, and maintaining various reports and database systems for department management - Collaborating with stakeholders to define project goals, KPIs, and deliverables - Managing multiple project assignments and analytical duties simultaneously - Using statistical tools and data analysis to monitor performance and support decision-making - Developing proficiency with Salesforce, Centricity, and other programs used by the Commercial Team - Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure optimal sales execution and growth objectives attainment Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of Sales, Marketing, and/or Project Management experience or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience - Experience with SQL, Tableau, and Power BI - Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or higher) - Data modeling and forecasting experience - Advanced technical skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.) - Prior experience in the Medical Device or Pharma industry - Experience in presenting data to leadership/executive level - Excellent attention to detail In addition to competitive salary and flexible benefits, Medtronic is committed to supporting its employees at every career and life stage.
