Principal Product Designer

As the Principal Product Designer (UI/UX) at Logile, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the design vision and strategy for digital products. Your responsibilities will include creating user-centric experiences that enhance usability, engagement, and business outcomes. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality design solutions and ensure adherence to global usability and accessibility standards. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the UX strategy, ensuring consistency in visual design and interaction patterns. - Lead the end-to-end design process, including user research, prototyping, and UI implementation. - Establish scalable design systems and advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle. - Partner with cross-functional teams to align design outcomes with strategic objectives. - Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends to drive product innovation. - Develop and maintain design systems for visual consistency and efficiency. - Use data-driven insights to refine user interactions. - Mentor junior and mid-level designers, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. - Lead design critiques and collaborative problem-solving sessions. - Contribute to hiring efforts and empower team members through delegation and accountability. - Champion inclusive design principles and ensure compliance with accessibility best practices. - Conduct user research and usability testing to drive design decisions. - Collaborate with engineers for pixel-perfect design implementation. - Work in Agile environments, ensuring design tasks are aligned with sprint objectives. - Lead workshops and present designs to stakeholders for feedback. - Communicate design rationale effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or related field. - 8+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing design leadership. - Proficient in Figma and other design tools. - Knowledge of design systems, interaction design principles, and user research methodologies. - Familiarity with front-end technologies for collaboration with developers. - Experience mentoring designers and leading successful design initiatives. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
