Principal Officer

Ensure strict compliance with IRDAI guidelines, circulars, and notifications applicable to insurance brokers.

Oversee and monitor all regulatory filings, renewals, and statutory submissions to IRDAI and other relevant authorities.

Maintain and update internal compliance policies, SOPs, and audit mechanisms as per regulatory norms.

Supervise broking operations, ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct, fair business practices, and client servicing standards.

Coordinate with IRDAI during inspections, audits, and correspondence, ensuring timely responses and implementation of corrective actions.

Provide training and guidance to management and staff on compliance matters and recent regulatory updates.

Liaise with internal departments to embed compliance into operational processes across the organization.

Prepare and present periodic compliance and governance reports to the Board of Directors.

Key Requirements

Educational Qualification:

Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline.

Must have completed the IRDAI-approved Principal Officer Certification for Insurance Broking.

Experience:

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and broking operations.

Valid Insurance Broker’s Licence is compulsory.

Additional IRDAI certifications or regulatory qualifications will be considered an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
