Principal IT Solution Architect

You will be part of Arm's Enterprise IT Business Applications Architecture practice and work across the portfolio of projects to provide architectural guidance and solutions to business challenges aligned with strategy and EIT roadmaps. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with senior leaders to identify future technology innovations and evolutions that can address business ambitions - Developing solution designs (HLD) and roadmaps aligned to the Domain target - Maintaining mapping between Capabilities, Applications, and Data You will need to assess and apply technology creatively, work with technical communities to establish reference patterns for Platforms and Solutions, and look for opportunities with new technologies and applications. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership by guiding change initiatives and technical communities, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, and owning solution patterns and approaches. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the development and evolution of Architecture principles, governance, materials, and ways of working. You will guide and mentor teams on architecture principles, governance, and standard practices, as well as drive innovation by researching and evaluating emerging technologies aligned with business needs. Qualifications required for this role include: - At least 8 years of experience in a Solution Architect role - Strong experience with Salesforce, SAP, and integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, event-driven architectures, MS Power Platform, Automation Anywhere) - Good knowledge of LoB applications (e.g., ServiceNow, HCM, CMS, CLM) in commercial and operational domains - Expertise in cloud services (multi-provider, AI, cloud-native development) - Experience with DevSecOps, SRE, and cybersecurity practices - Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term needs and define multiple solution options - Familiarity with Business Analysis, Programme Management, and application development methodologies - Ability to quickly learn new technologies - Demonstrable experience in project governance, leadership, and architecture team development Nice to have skills and experience include formal qualifications in development languages or application platforms and experience in the semi-conductor industry or other Engineering-based organizations.
