As an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer specializing in Storage/SSD, you will play a crucial role in designing and debugging firmware using assembly and C programming languages. Your knowledge of NAND flash, SSD flash translation layer, wear leveling, and garbage collection will be essential for accelerating the transformation of information into intelligence. Additionally, familiarity with mass storage interfaces like SATA, SAS, and NVMe will be a strong advantage. Your responsibilities will include: - Configuring and debugging issues related to the usage of register settings of ASICs in an SoC and embedded firmware development environment - Demonstrating a high level of skill in problem recreation, trapping, and identifying performance critical algorithms for optimization - Utilizing ARM development tools and IDE such as Eclipse effectively - Estimating development effort accurately - Collaborating and communicating effectively within a team and multitasking in a fast-paced environment - Utilizing knowledge of digital hardware design and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic/bus analyzers for comprehensive firmware development Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships - Ambitious, goal-oriented, and dedicated mindset - Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment About Micron Technology, Inc.: Micron Technology is a global leader in innovative memory and storage solutions, dedicated to transforming the world's use of information to enhance the quality of life for all individuals.
