Principal Engineer - Java Full Stack

As a Java Full Stack Engineer at HARMAN Automotive, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing automotive software components with a focus on embedded protocols and real-time performance. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot. - Demonstrating deep knowledge of Core Java, including Collections, Concurrency, and Multi-threading. - Utilizing Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. - Implementing Microservices architecture and working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda. - Using GIT, Gerrit, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions. - Employing Docker for containerization and demonstrating a strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases. - Applying knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, and showcasing strong problem-solving skills. - Working with devOps and Agile principles, being a self-starter, and effectively managing time. - Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills. To be eligible for this role, you should have: - Good experience in Automotive software development. - Experience in performance optimization (KPIs) and Test Driven Development practices. - Familiarity with agile environments, DevOps culture, Kubernetes, and other orchestration tools. - Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. - Understanding of security best practices in cloud and microservices. - Exposure to front-end technologies like React and Angular for full-stack collaboration.
