Principal Engineer - AI Voice Platform

As an AI SDR Platform company in its pre-launch phase and with a focus on solving real-time voice challenges, we are looking for a talented individual to lead the design, architecture, and development of our real-time AI voice platform. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking project that aims to revolutionize enterprise sales by automating outbound cold calling using intelligent voice agents. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the design, architecture, and development of our real-time AI voice platform. - Solve critical latency problems and build scalable, low-latency audio pipelines. - Work with AI APIs, telephony platforms, and real-time streaming systems. - Build a world-class product that can scale to thousands of concurrent AI voice agents. - Set the technical roadmap and build the engineering culture from day one. - Work directly with the founder (serial entrepreneur, proven SaaS operator). **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years experience building backend systems, real-time applications, or AI infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of real-time audio, telephony (SIP, RTP, WebRTC) or conversational AI. - Comfortable working with speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and LLM APIs. - Experience building voice assistants, live streaming, or latency-sensitive systems is a big plus. - Hunger to solve hard problems and move fast in an early-stage, high-ownership role. - Based in Mumbai or open to relocating.
