Principal Development Engineer - Full stack

As a Principal Development Engineer - MEAN at Barco Noida, you will be part of the Barco CTRL product group. Your role will involve collaborating with Developers, Product Owners, System Architects, and System validation teams across different locations to design and implement quality product increments. You will lead and contribute to the development, architecture, and design of functional and nonfunctional components for high-quality software increments. It is essential to gain a deep understanding of the Barco control room product and adhere to best practices in code quality, security, and software development. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement quality product increments - Lead and contribute to the development, architecture, and design of functional and nonfunctional components - Gain a deep understanding of the Barco control room product - Adhere to best practices in code quality, security, and software development - Work with teams across different locations and time zones - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product releases - Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends Qualifications and Experience: - Education: B. Tech./B. E./M. E./M. Tech. in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering - Experience: 12-14 years of full stack development and architecture experience with proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, Angular, Python technologies - Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases - Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker) - Expertise in Test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, and DevOps practices - Experience with source code control tools like Github - Designing, implementing, and supporting reusable and maintainable APIs and services - Experience in leading technical tracks in product development - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and teamwork skills In addition to the technical qualifications and responsibilities, Barco values diversity and inclusion.
