Principal Development Engineer - Full stack

As a Principal Development Engineer - MEAN at Barco's Noida location, you will be a valuable member of the Barco CTRL product group, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in MongoDB, Angular, Node.js, and Python will be essential as you collaborate with global feature teams to create scalable and efficient applications. In this role, you will work closely with Developers, Product Owners, System Architects, and System validation teams across different locations to design and implement quality product increments. Your responsibilities will include leading and contributing to the development, architecture, and design of functional and nonfunctional components, ensuring adherence to best practices in code quality, security, and software development. You will be expected to gain a deep understanding of the Barco control room product and stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance application functionality. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to fellow colleagues and specialists while working with cross-functional teams across multiple groups, geographies, and time zones to deliver high-quality, timely product releases. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B. Tech./B. E./M. E./M. Tech. degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering and have 12-14 years of experience in full stack development and architecture. Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, Angular, Python, SQL, NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), Test driven development (TDD), CI/CD, DevOps practices, and source code control tools like Github is required. Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting reusable APIs and services, leading technical tracks in product development, and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is desirable.
